Patrick Bowen is the UXR Lead for Status. He formerly worked at Google for 12 years, most recently as the lead UX researcher on Google Flights, Patrick Bowen aids Status in delivering an experience that truly puts people at the center of Web 3.0. Hester is a freelance, location independent UX researcher. She joined Status in January, with a mission to make Ethereum and the decentralized web human-friendly. Over the past 10 years, she has worked in various domains ranging from medical devices to consumer electronics, finance, advertising and governmental services for companies such as Philips, ING, and Facebook.


Status is an open source messaging platform and mobile interface to interact with decentralized applications that run on the Ethereum Network. Status aims to democratise power, giving stakeholders a direct influence over all decisions within the network, by giving stakeholders the ability to choose the direction that the software is developed with a token is used to make decisions on proposals.
